~Arrived at Changi International Airport way earlier than expected, at about slightly past 6am, cos everyone was punctual and traffic was smooth all the way ~ had a relaxing breakfast of eggs and toast at Wang Cafe and then proceeded to check in ~ strolled about a bit and browsed at some stores before boarding the plane ~ enjoyed the movie "Coco Avant Chanel" on board as well as a yummy filling lunch of pasta salad, oriental fish fillet rice set, bread and ice cream.
~Reached Perth with a bit of a hiccup at the arrival hall cos the traditional Po Chai pills that we usually pack in with our luggage had to be confiscated as it wasn't allowed in Australia (lady officer attending to us was very warm and friendly though, so we weren't intimidated at all during the seizing of the items -- basically just had to have some paperwork completed) ~ met our courteous coach driver cum tour guide, Dominic, and settled down on a comfortable ride all the way back to our hotel, Citigate Hotel ~ weather was cool (slightly more than 20 degrees Celsius only) and I thoroughly enjoyed the scenery along the way.
~There wasn't any planned programme for the rest of the evening so all of us rested for a while in our room before making our way out to explore the vicinity and get dinner on the way as well ~ our first stop was at a souvenir store where we spent quite some time browsing about for gifts ~ finally decided on grabbing dinner at a fast food outlet; all of us except Mummy shared a variety of Turkish gozlemes (prata-like stuff) with various fillings such as chicken, spinach and potatoes; Mummy chose to have a burger set meal at Hungry Jack's, which is like Burger King's twin, except that the meals are more expensive and the burgers and drinks actually smaller compared to BK's ~ after dinner, we continued strolling along the streets, but cos it's a Tuesday, the stores were closed early at about 6pm, so there wasn't any shopping we could do ~ had a good time just checking out the quiet mall streets and alleys and taking pics anyway (Christmas decorations were up too, making the sights even more appealing) ~ once back at the hotel, Beebee, Hubby and I washed up and just relaxed in front of the TV till we fell asleep.
